Government Funded Childcare
I offer 15 and 30 hours of Government Funded Childcare, where eligible. Funded hours are provided at no extra charge and there is no minimum-hours requirement for funded childcare.
Please note that government funding covers childcare hours only. Meals, snacks, outings and other optional extras are not covered by the funding and may be charged separately or provide the items, check below for more information.

If you require additional childcare beyond your child’s funded entitlement, additional private hours can be arranged. These will be charged at the agreed private hourly rate set out in your contract.
I also accept Tax-Free Childcare vouchers for eligible families.

Alternatively, you are very welcome to provide a healthy, nutritious packed lunch from home, nuts and eggs free.
Outings
Outings are a regular part of our weekly routine and provide wonderful opportunities for children to explore, learn and experience the world around them.There is currently no charge for under 2s in the venues where I hold a membership, including Drusillas, Sharnfold Farm, Middle Farm and similar venues. If membership prices increase or a membership is not renewed, a charge may apply in the future if we wish to visit the place. Some memberships also require tickets once a child reaches a certain age. Any applicable costs will always be discussed with parents beforehand for special outings from time to time, we may enjoy special outings such as the theatre, cinema, music shows, art galleries trips, museums and seasonal activities in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas.
- Special outings are optional.
- Any charge is based on the ticket price set by the provider and agreed with all parents.
- Parents are always informed well in advance.
- I only make a booking once I know that all children attending that day are able to take part. We don’t leave anyone out!
Consumables
I do not charge an additional consumables fee. Parents are asked to provide:
- Nappies
- Disposable nappy bags
- Laundry bag
- Wipes
- Suncream
- Nappy cream
Where possible, I kindly ask families to provide environmentally friendly products.
